This is the STATICA project.

The aim of this project is to make available statically linked software for post-mortem and root kit infection analisys and also salvage processes of linux systems.

Currently only i386 and ALPHA linux binaries are available. Other systems and archs will be added as soon as possible.

WARNING:

All files here have been statically compiled and linked, so they may include pieces of code which are normally dinamically linked to them. As a result if the code statically linked to them contains vulnerabilities, they will certanly contain these vulnerabilites as well. If you suspect that any code has been linked and included to these files you can try to find its symbols within the binaries' symbols tables, because they have NOT been stripped.
